Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar, an American and British sitarist. She's the smallest woman and the first to be awarded a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is among the rising stars of India's sitar. She is a student and granddaughter of legendary Ravi Shankar. She was born 1982 in London. Her childhood years included a period of time in London and New Delhi. She gave her debut performance on stage in New Delhi at the tender age of thirteen. After that, she moved in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha still has a promising career in recording and performing even though she's young. Her father has been with her on numerous occasions for some time.
